Progression Options

Once you have completed an Oxford Knights College course, the following options are available to our students:

 


FULL TIME STUDY

 

PART TIME STUDY

 

Study on campus in your chosen UK university or continue your online education.

 

Most Universities accept Ofqual credits as entry into advanced levels and therefore students may choose which University, they wish to advance their studies with. Being accepted into a full-time advanced level means you will graduate sooner. Some Universities may offer part-time study programmes as day or evening study courses. Some also offer weekend workshops. You may check your preferred University requirements here (Click here to Find a University) Please note that these are general guidelines and students are required to check with their preferred University or local University Agent if you intend on submitting an application. Many Universities offer part time and evening provisions for students and you should always check with your preferred University first.

 

Some Examples of University Pathway routes with tuition fees:

  

Example 1

 

Student with high school certificate wants to obtain a UK bachelor degree

 

Route 1 (traditional)

 

University Entry gained by:

 

GCSE A level and English Language Certificate

 

OR

 

Foundation Year and English Language Certificate (approx 10000)

 

and 

 

3 years for bachelor (approx. 40000 euros) - incl. exams, thesis and assignments

 

Total Cost for online is 50000 euros

 

Route 2 - The College Way

 

The student chooses a private college and at the end of the fourth year will obtain a degree from a UK licensor / franchisor University.

 

Each year is approx 8000 euros, so total cost is approx 32000 euros - incl. exams, thesis and assignments

  

Route 3 - Oxford Knights College

 

The student registers for level 4 and level 5 diplomas. Level 4 equals to UK university frst year and level 5 is equal to UK university second year. Fees for both diplomas is 6000 euros. Diplomas are accredited and internationally recognised. Student has three options when obtains the level 5 diploma:

 

- start working as a middle manager in a company 

 

- continue for level 6 diploma that equals  bachelor degree based on National Qualifications Framework (NQF)

 

- choose one of our partner universities(see the list below) to continue for the final year and take advantage of our agrrements for discounted fees (instead of   paying 11500 GBP, OKC graduate will pay between 3000 - 4000 GBP.

 

The total cost is less than 10000 euros for two diplomas and a UK university bachelor degre.

 

 

Example 2

 

Professional without a bachelor degree, wants to obtain an MBA (Master in Business Administration)

 

Register for level 6 and level 7 diplomas(6000 euros for both). Level 7 graduates can register as MBA advanced entry with a UK partner university, and write a thesis for MBA qualification. No exams are needed and get a 70% scholarship/discount on tuition fees.

  

Total cost for level 6 diploma, level 7 diploma and a UK university  MBA is 10000 euros. If you register via traditional route the same qualification is approx. 18000 GBP. 

 

Example 3

 

Bachelor graduate that wants a masters or MBA

 

Register for level 7 (3500 euros) and then gain entry for a mster or an MBA from a UK university. 

 

Total cost is between 5500 - 8500 euros depending the university

NOTE : The total cost of a bachelor at Northampton University is 9600 GBP (incl. Diploma 4, Diploma 5, year 3 tuition fees at Northampton University and 20% VAT). All awards are assignment based with no exams.

Accordingly, if you are 24 y.o. with no university degree, you can obtain an Internationally accredited MBA from New Buckinghamshire University along with Diploma 6 and Diploma 7 from Oxford Knights College, with no exams and pay for all the awards 8800 GBP incl. 20% VAT.

Study with a UK University based OVERSEAS

Some UK Universities operate overseas campuses and may accept local students into the programmes at advanced entry level. UK University campuses may be found in Dubai, Mauritius, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Cyprus, South Asia, UAE  https://www.guide2dubai.com/living/education/british-universities-dubai and other overseas destinations. Students are required to check locally for details. International students looking to complete their studies in the UK may visit the NARIC website for information and details https://www.naric.org.uk/naric/

 

Studying with a non – UK University
Students may wish to study at an Institution closer to home or pursue qualifications other than UK Universities. Many Australian and Canadian Universities also offer distance learning and recognise the equivalent UK qualification on a case-by-case basis.

 

USA Universities generally accept UK advanced entry students however there is a vast difference between regions and Universities, each with their own policy.

Studying for an AMBA MBA

AMBA – The Association of MBAs - is a membership organisation that provides accreditation and upholds the highest international standards of MBA programmes. There are many UK Universities who are members of AMBA and offer distance learning. Although credits are not given, admissions are accepted with the Oxford Knights College Level 6 or 7 plus the requisite additional entry requirements of your chosen University. Students are required to check the regulations of their preferred University. Information regarding progression routes is available on each course page under “University Progression”. University Undergraduate Top up

 

About the Top up Course

Once you have completed the Level 5 Extended Diploma in Management at Oxford Knights College, you may further your studies to a BA (Hons) Business and Management Top up programme at a UK University. Top up courses differ depending on the University you have chosen.

 Top up courses for BA (Hons) Business and Management have been designed for students who have already completed levels 4 and 5 in Business or other similar UK/International qualification. Students may complete the Top up on campus or online and acquire a BA (Hons) Degree by completing the final year at the preferred Universit.

 

Graduating on Campus in a UK University


Most UK Universities accept the Oxford Knights College 240 credit programme for entry into the final year Top up on campus. Students may also contact the Admissions department of desired University directly.

 

Entry Requirements

Please note that University requirements may differ. The 240 credits given by Oxford Knights College are normally accepted by Universities, however students should check with the University of their choice to see if they have any specific requirements.

 

Important Note: Verification of English Language in the form of ILETS or TOEFL may be required if English is not your native language.
